# The Children’s Services Planning (Specified Date) (Scotland) Order 2016, Article 2: Specified date


The date specified for the purposes of section 8(2)(a) of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 (requirement to prepare children’s services plan) is 1st April 2017.
