Article 3 Application of Railways Clauses Acts

Section 47 of the Railways Clauses Consolidation Act 1845^f1 (roads crossed on a level) and section 6 of the Railways Clauses Act 1863^f2 (lodges at level crossings) shall cease to apply to the authorised railway.

In its application to the authorised railway section 22 of the Regulation of Railways Act 1868^f3 shall be read, construed and have effect as if the words “and travels more than twenty miles without stopping” had been omitted.
