# The Citizenship Oath and Pledge (Welsh Language) Order 2007, Article 2


Articles 3 and 4 apply in the case of a citizenship oath (or affirmation) and pledge made in Wales for the purpose of registration or naturalisation as a British citizen in accordance with section 42(1) or (2) of the British Nationality Act 1981.
