# The Civil Aviation (Canadian Navigation Services) (Revocation) Regulations 2000, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations revoke the Civil Aviation (Canadian Navigation Services) Regulations 1998 (S.I. 1998/2575) as amended.
The revocation is in consequence of the termination by Nav Canada of its arrangement with the CAA for the collection of Nav Canada’s charges for provision of air navigation services within the Gander Oceanic Flight Information Region, telecommunication services to international flights and air navigation services to flights crossing Canadian airspace which do not land or take off in Canada.
