# The Civil Aviation (Joint Financing) (Amendment) Regulations 1998, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st January 1999
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1)(a) and (6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1982, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the consent of the Treasury in respect of regulation 2(a), hereby makes the following Regulations–
