Article 2 Commencement dates

(1)

The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in paragraph (2) is 10th December 2004.

(2)

The provisions in this paragraph are—

(a)

Part 2 (sections 19 to 31);

(b)

section 32(1) in so far as it relates to Part 2 of Schedule 2;

(c)

Part 2 of Schedule 2;

(d)

section 32(2) in so far is it relates to the repeal of Emergency Powers Act 1920^f1 and the Emergency Powers Act (Northern Ireland) 1926^f2;

(e)

Schedule 3, insofar as it relates to the Emergency Powers Act 1920 and the Emergency Powers Act (Northern Ireland) 1926.

The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in paragraph (4) is 19th January 2005.

The provisions in this paragraph are—

section 32(1) in so far as it relates to Part 3 of Schedule 2;

(a)

Part 3 of Schedule 2.
