# The Civil Courts (Amendment No. 2) Order 1991, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Civil Courts Order 1983 so as to close the Todmorden County Court in Todmorden, Lancashire. The Halifax County Court is given jurisdiction in proceedings commenced in Todmorden before its closure.
