# The Civil Courts (Amendment No. 2) Order 1992, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Civil Courts Order 1983 so as to close the Maldon County Court in Maldon, Essex. The Chelmsford County Court is given jurisdiction in proceedings commenced in Maldon before its closure.
