Article 3

The 1983 Order shall be amended as follows—

(a)

in Schedule 1 the entry relating to Stockton on Tees shall be deleted; and

(b)

in Schedule 3—

(i)

the entry relating to Stockton-on-Tees shall be deleted^f1;

(ii)

in the third column of the entry relating to Bishop Auckland, for “Stockton-on-Tees” there shall be substituted “Middlesborough”;

(iii)

in the third column of the entry relating to Darlington, for “Stockton-on-Tees” there shall be substituted “Middlesborough”; and

(iv)

in the fourth column of the entry relating to Hartlepool, for “Stockton-on-Tees” there shall be substituted “Middlesborough”.

Annotations

f1: Directions given on behalf of the Lord Chancellor under section 2(3) of the County Courts Act 1984 will determine which court district will include the former district of the Stockton-on-Tees County Court with effect from the date on which this Order comes into force.
