# The Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 2016, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 10th October 2016
Coming into force 31st October 2016
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 99(1) of the Senior Courts Act 1981, having consulted the Lord Chief Justice in accordance with that section, makes the following Order.
