  "text": "For Schedule 1 (kindred and affinity) substitute—\n“SCHEDULE 1\nKindred and affinity\nPart 1\nProhibited degrees: kindred\n1 (1) The list referred to in section 1(1) is—\nAdoptive child\nAdoptive parent\nChild\nFormer adoptive child\nFormer adoptive parent\nGrandparent\nGrandchild\nParent\nParent’s sibling\nSibling\nSibling’s child\n(2) In the list “sibling” means a brother, sister, half-brother or half-sister.\nPart 2\nDegrees of affinity referred to in section 1(2) and (3)\n2 The list referred to in section 1(2) is as follows—\nChild of former civil partner\nChild of former spouse\nFormer civil partner of grandparent\nFormer civil partner of parent\nFormer spouse of grandparent\nFormer spouse of parent\nGrandchild of former civil partner\nGrandchild of former spouse\nPart 3\nDegrees of affinity referred to in section 1(4) and (5)\n3 The list referred to in section 1(4) is as follows—\nParent of former spouse\nParent of former civil partner\nFormer spouse of child\nFormer civil partner of child.”",
