# Civil Partnership Act 2004, Paragraph 55


In section 78(5) (general interpretation: meaning of “near relative”)—
(a) after “wife or husband” (in both places) insert “ or civil partner ”, and
(b) for “by affinity)” substitute “ by marriage or civil partnership) ”.
