# Civil Partnership Act 2004, Paragraph 89


In Article 79A (rule where accused’s spouse not compellable)—
(a) for “wife or husband” substitute “ spouse or civil partner ”, and
(b) in the heading, after “spouse” insert “ or civil partner ”.
