In subsection (7) (“family member”), for “wife or husband” (in each place) substitute “ spouse or civil partner ”.

In subsection (8) (surviving spouse’s rights on intestacy)—
(a)
in paragraph (a), for “wife or husband” substitute “ spouse or civil partner ”, and
(b)
in paragraph (b), for “husband or wife” substitute “ spouse or civil partner ”.
