# The Civil Partnership Records (Revocation) Regulations 2024

These Regulations revoke the Civil Partnership Records Regulations 2016 which provide that information contained in an entry in the Registrar General’s register of civil partnerships may be provided, upon request, in portable document format.

Civil Partnership, England And Wales
Made 1st May 2024
Coming into force 28th May 2024
The Registrar General makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 36(2)(g) and 258(2) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
In accordance with section 36(3) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004, these Regulations are made with the approval of the Secretary of State.

## 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Partnership Records (Revocation) Regulations 2024 and come into force on 28th May 2024.
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

## 2 Revocation of the Civil Partnership Records Regulations 2016

The Civil Partnership Records Regulations 2016 are revoked.
