# The Civil Procedure (Amendment No.2) Rules 2004, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules may be cited as the Civil Procedure (Amendment No.2) Rules 2004 and shall come into force—
(a) for the purposes of rules 2 and 14, and this rule, on 1st September 2004; and
(b) for all other purposes, on 1st October 2004.
