Article 10 Amendment to the Civil Procedure Rules 1998

In rule 6.4—

(a)

in paragraph (1), for “paragraph (2)”, substitute “paragraphs (2) and (2A)”; and

(b)

after paragraph (2), insert—

“(2A)

In civil proceedings by or against the Crown, as defined in rule 66.1(2), documents required to be served on the Crown may not be served personally.”.
