# The Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2000, Paragraph 52.7: Stay(gl)


Unless—
(a) the appeal court or the lower court orders otherwise; or
(b) the appeal is from the Immigration Appeal Tribunal,
an appeal shall not operate as a stay of any order or decision of the lower court.
