  "text": "In Part 45—\n(a) at the end of the table of contents insert—\n“\nSection VI – Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents\nScope and interpretation\nRule 45.27\nApplication of fixed costs, disbursements and success fee\nRule 45.28\nAmount of fixed costs\nRule 45.29\nDisbursements\nRule 45.30\nSuccess fee\nRule 45.31\nWhere the claimant obtains judgment for an amount more than the defendant’s RTA Protocol offer\nRule 45.32\nSettlement at Stage 2 where the claimant is a child\nRule 45.33\nSettlement at Stage 3 where the claimant is a child\nRule 45.34\nWhere the court orders the claim is not suitable to be determined under the Stage 3 Procedure and the claimant is a child\nRule 45.35\nFailure to comply or electing not to continue with the RTA Protocol – costs consequences\nRule 45.36\nWhere the parties have settled after proceedings have started\nRule 45.37\nWhere the claimant obtains judgment for an amount equal to or less than the defendant’s RTA Protocol offer\nRule 45.38\nAdjournment\nRule 45.39\nAccount of payment of Stage 1 fixed costs\nRule 45.40\n”;\n(b) for rule 45.7(3) substitute—\n“(3) This Section does not apply where—\n(a) the claimant is a litigant in person; or\n(b) Section VI of this Part applies.”;\n(c) in rule 45.15(4)—\n(i) in sub-paragraph (b) omit “or”;\n(ii) in sub-paragraph (c) for “.” substitute “; or”; and\n(iii) after sub-paragraph (c) insert—\n“(d) to a claim to which Section VI of this Part applies.”; and\n(d) after rule 45.26, insert Section VI (Pre-Action Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury Claims in Road Traffic Accidents) as set out in Schedule 2 to these Rules.",
