  "text": "In Part 52—\n(a) in rule 52.3—\n(i) in paragraph (3)—\n(aa) after “permission to appeal” insert “—”; and\n(bb) omit the words from “, a further application” to “the appeal court.”; and\n(cc) below paragraph (3), insert—\n“(a) a further application for permission may be made to the appeal court; and\n(b) the order refusing permission will specify—\n(i) the court to which any further application for permission should be made; and\n(ii) the level of the judge who should hear the application.”; and\n(ii) in paragraph (4A), in subparagraph (b)—\n(aa) omit “a patents county court judge and”; and\n(bb) for “circuit judge in any county court” substitute “Circuit Judge in the County Court”; and\n(b) after rule 52.20, insert—\n“52.21. Where an appeal lies to the High Court—\n(a) under section 151(4) of the Pensions Schemes Act 1993 from a determination or direction of the Pensions Ombudsman; or\n(b) under section 217(1) of the Pensions Act 2004 from a determination or direction of the Pension Protection Fund Ombudsman,\nthe permission of the High Court is required for such an appeal to be brought.”.",
