Rule 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation
These Rules may be cited as the Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2025 and come into force on 6th April 2025, subject to paragraph (2) and rule 2.
Rules 4 and 9 come into force on the date on which, and immediately after, section 194 of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023f1 comes into force for all purposes.
In these Rules a reference to a Part or rule by number alone means the Part or rule so numbered in the Civil Procedure Rules 1998f2.
