# The Civil Procedure Rules 1998 (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation

Extent: E+W

(1) — These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 and come into force on exit day.
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
(3) A reference in these Regulations to a rule or Part by number alone is a reference to the rule or Part so numbered in the Civil Procedure Rules 1998 .
