Rule 66 Penalties: misconduct (but not serious misconduct)

(1)

Before imposing a penalty under section 38 (1) or (3) of the CCM, the responsible bishop or the President of Tribunals must give each of the parties an opportunity to make written representations on—

(a)

whether or not it is appropriate to impose a penalty;

(b)

which penalty or penalties (if any) under section 37 (1) of the CCM it is appropriate to impose.

(2)

The representations (if any) must be made before the end of 14 days beginning with the day after the invitation to make those representations is given.
