Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Rules may be cited as the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Rules 2021.

These Rules come into force two months after the day on which they are laid before Parliament.

In these Rules, “the 2005 Rules” means the Clergy Discipline Rules 2005^f1; and a reference to a numbered Rule is to the Rule numbered as such in the 2005 Rules.
