  "text": "Climate Change, Wales\nMade 17 March 2021\nComing into force 19 March 2021\nIn accordance with section 48(3) of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 (“the Act”), a draft of this instrument was laid before and approved by a resolution of Senedd Cymru.\nBefore the draft was laid the Welsh Ministers—\n(a) satisfied themselves that each interim emissions target is set at a level consistent with meeting the 2050 emissions target, in accordance with section 32(1)(a) of the Act,\n(b) had regard to the matters listed in section 32(3) of the Act, and\n(c) obtained and took into account the advice of the Committee on Climate Change, in accordance with section 49(1) of the Act.\nThe Committee on Climate Change has recommended that the interim emissions targets for 2030 and 2040 be amended.\nAccordingly, the Welsh Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred by section 30(1) of the Act, and in accordance with section 32(2)(b) of the Act, make the following Regulations.",
