# The Climate Change Levy (General) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the House of Commons 12th March 2001
Coming into force 1st April 2001
The Commissioners of Customs and Excise, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 30 of and paragraphs 19(1), 19(3), 21, 22, 23(4), 27(7), 27(8), 29(7), 41(1), 41(2), 43(4), 43(5), 44(5), 62, 63(4), 65, 73, 74, 100(2), 100(3), 118, 119, 120, 125, 146(1), 146(4) and 146(7) of Schedule 6 to the Finance Act 2000, section 51 of the Finance Act 1997, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
