# Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009, Section 92: Sustainable development

Extent: S

(1) The persons mentioned in subsection (2) must, in exercising functions conferred on them by virtue of this Act, take into account the need to do so in a way that contributes to the achievement of sustainable development, including the achievement of the United Nations sustainable development goals.
(2) Those persons are—
(a) the Scottish Ministers;
(b) the advisory body.
