# The Coasting Schools (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2025, Note: Explanatory note

These Regulations amend the Coasting Schools (England) Regulations 2022 (S.I. 2022/720).
Regulation 3 substitutes a new definition of the circumstances in which a school is deemed to be coasting for the purposes of section 60B of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 (c. 40).
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on business is foreseen.
