# The Code of Practice for Electronic Programme Guides (Addition of Programme Services) Order 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by sections 310(5) and 402 of the Communications Act 2003.
In accordance with section 310(6) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted OFCOM.
