# The Code of Practice (Requests for Flexible Working) Order 2024, Article 3: Transitional Provision


The revised Code of Practice does not apply to applications made under section 80F of the Employment Rights Act 1996 on or before 5th April 2024 except that any such application will be taken into account in determining whether an employee is prevented from making an application by section 80F(4) of that Act.
