# The Combined Probation Areas (Kent) Order 1999, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1713) to take account of the combination of the petty sessional divisions of Dartford and Gravesham to form the new petty sessional division of Dartford and Gravesham. The changes to the petty sessional divisions in question are effected by the Petty Sessional Divisions (Kent) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/2105), which will come into force, subject to certain exceptions, on 1st January 2000.
