Article 3

The two justices appointed to be members of the Northumbria Probation Committee by the justices for the group of petty sessional divisions comprising Berwick-Upon-Tweed, Coquetdale and Glendale Ward before the two divisions of Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Glendale Ward were combined to form a new division known as the Berwick-Upon-Tweed division shall cease to hold office as members of that Committee but shall be eligible for re-appointment.

The justices for each of the new division of Berwick-Upon-Tweed and the existing division of Coquetdale shall appoint one of their number to serve, with effect from 1st April 1988, as a member of the Northumbria Probation Committee; and the two members so appointed shall hold office until 30th November 1989 and shall then cease to hold office but shall be eligible for re-appointment.
