  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order amends the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1713) so as to reduce from thirty-five to eighteen the number of justices appointed to the Northumbria Probation Committee. Each petty sessions area or group of areas will now appoint two justices to the Committee. Where a reduction in membership is necessary it is to be achieved by agreement, or in default of agreement, by lot.",
