Article 3

In article 5 of the 1986 Order, for the words, “1st December” there shall be substituted the words, “1st April”.

Notwithstanding the provisions of article 5 of the 1986 Order as in force on 30th September 1992, the term of appointment of any person appointed under article 4 of that Order to hold office from 1st December 1989 as a member of a probation committee, or appointed to fill a vacancy among the elected members of such a committee where the member in whose place he was appointed was appointed to hold office from 1st December 1989, and who, on 30th November 1992, is a member of the committee shall be deemed to have been made so as to expire on 31st March 1993.
