# The Commission Areas (Devon and Cornwall) Order 2000, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for the replacement of the two commission areas of Devon and Cornwall by a single commission area to be known as the Devon and Cornwall commission area, and comes into force on 1st January 2001.
