# The Commission Areas (Dyfed Powys) Order 2000, Article 2


In this Order, except where the context otherwise requires:—
“area” means a commission area including any part of the Dyfed Powys magistrates' courts committee area;
“abolished area” means one of the areas abolished by article 3 below;
“new area” means the area constituted by article 3(b) below;
any reference to a justice for an area shall be construed as a reference to a person who holds the commission of the peace for that area.
