# Commissioners Clauses Act 1847, Section 97: Fines for breach of such byelaws.


The commissioners may by such byelaws impose such reasonable penalties upon all persons, being officers or servants of the commissioners, offending against such byelaws as the commissioners think fit, not exceeding level 1 on the standard scale for any one offence.
