# The Commissioners for Oaths (Authorised Persons) (Fees) Order 1993, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order prescribes the fees chargeable by authorised persons defined (including barristers) in section 113 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990 when acting as commissioners for oaths.The fees are £5 for taking affidavits and similar declarations, and £2 for marking exhibits.
