# The Common Procurement Vocabulary (Amendment) Regulations 2023, Regulation 2: Amendment to Regulation 2195/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council


(1) Regulation (EC) No. 2195/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5th November 2002 on the Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) is amended as follows.
(2) In Annex 1 (Common Procurement Vocabulary)—
(a) in the description for CPV code 85311200-4, for “the handicapped” substitute “disabled people”;
(b) in the description for CPV code 85312120-6, for “handicapped” substitute “disabled”.
(3) In Annex 2 (Correspondence table between CPV and CPC Prov.)—
(a) in the description for CPV code 85311200-4, for “the handicapped” substitute “disabled people”;
(b) in the description for CPV code 85312120-6, for “handicapped” substitute “disabled”.
