Regulation 2

(1)

In these Regulations—

(a)

“the principal regulations” means the Commons Registration (General) Regulations 1966^f1 ;

(b)

a regulation or form referred to by number in the Schedule to these Regulations is the regulation or form so numbered in the principal regulations.

(2)

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
