# The Commons Registration (General) (Amendment) Regulations 1989, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 20th November 1989
Laid before Parliament 29th November 1989
Coming into force 20th December 1989
The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19(1)(a) and (d) of the Commons Registration Act 1965, and now vested in them, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:–
