# The Communications Data Acquisition Regulations 2019, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Communications Data Acquisition Regulations 2019.
(2) These Regulations come into force on the day after the day on which they are laid before Parliament.
(3) In these Regulations “the 2016 Act” means the Investigatory Powers Act 2016.
