# The Community Bus (Amendment) Regulations 2007, Introduction: Introductory text


PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT
Made 6th March 2007
Laid before Parliament 8th March 2007
Coming into force 1st April 2007
The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52(1) and 60(1)(e) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981 and section 126(1)(c) and 134 of the Transport Act 1985 and by virtue of the Department of Transport (Fees) Order 1988.
He has consulted with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981.
