# Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015, Section 107: Meaning of “allotment”


In this Part, “allotment” means land that—
(a) is owned or leased by a local authority,
(b) is leased or intended for lease by a person from the authority, and
(c) is used or intended for use—
(i) wholly or mainly for the cultivation of vegetables, fruit, herbs or flowers, and
(ii) otherwise than with a view to making a profit.
