# The Companies Act 2006 (Consequential Amendments etc) Order 2008, Paragraph 68


In section 149(1) of the Companies Act 1985 (sanctions for public company failing to apply for re-registration as private company), for “section 81” substitute “ Chapter 1 of Part 20 of the Companies Act 2006 ”.
