  "heading": "Scheme of this Part",
  "text": "(1) The scheme of this Part is as follows.\n(2) The following provisions apply generally (to the registrar, to any functions of the registrar, or to documents delivered to or issued by the registrar under any enactment, as the case may be)—\nsections 1060(1) and (2) and 1061 to 1063 (the registrar),\nsections 1068 1067A to 1071 (delivery of documents to the registrar),\nsections 1072 to 1076 (requirements for proper delivery),\nsections 1080(1), (4) and (5) and 1092 (keeping and production of records),\nsection 1081A (registrar’s objectives to promote integrity of registers etc),\nsection 1083 (preservation of original documents),\nsection 1084A (recording optional information on register),\nsections 1092A to 1092C (powers to require further information),\nsections 1108 to 1110 (language requirements: transliteration),\nsections 1110E to 1110G (disclosure of information),\nsections 1111 and 1114 to 1119 (supplementary provisions).\nsection 1112B (false statement offences: national security etc defence).\n(3) The following provisions apply in relation to companies (to companies or for the purposes of the Companies Acts, as the case may be)—\nsection 1060(3) and (4) (references to the registrar in the Companies Acts),\nsections 1064 and 1065 (certificates of incorporation),\nsection 1066 (companies' registered numbers),\nsections 1077 to 1079A (public notice of certain information),\nsections 1080(2) and (3), 1081 , 1082 and 1084 (the register),\nsections 1085 to 1091 (inspection of the register),\nsections 1093 to 1098 (correction or removal of material on the register),\nsections 1098A to 1098H (authorised corporate service providers),\nsection 1106 (voluntary filing of translations),\nsections 1110A and 1110B (identity verification),\nsections 1112, 1112A and 1113 (enforcement).\n(4) The following provisions apply as indicated in the provisions concerned—\nsection 1067 (registered numbers of UK establishments of overseas companies),\nsections 1099 to 1101 (the registrar's index of company names),\nsections 1102 to 1105 and 1107 (language requirements: translation).\nsection 1110C (identity verification: exemption on national security grounds),\nsection 1110D (power to require businesses to report discrepancies),\n(5) Unless the context otherwise requires, the provisions of this Part apply to an overseas company as they apply to a company as defined in section 1.",
