# The Companies (Registration) Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st October 2009
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(2), 10(3), 11(2), 103(2)(a), 110(2)(a), 1167 and 1292(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2006.
