  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations apply certain provisions set out in Schedule 22 of the Companies Act 1985 to unregistered companies as defined in section 718 of the Companies Act. The provisions are those referred to in the entry in Schedule 22 relating to Part XA of the Companies Act, as inserted by the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.\nThe provisions so applied relate to the control of political donations by companies and are applied without any limitations mentioned in Schedule 22 in relation to those provisions and without any adaptations or modifications specified by regulations made by the Secretary of State.",
