  "text": "(1) 26th November 1998 is the day appointed for the coming into force of–\n(a) section 51 and Schedule 9 (Director’s rules) and section 52 (advice and information); and\n(b) section 54(2) and paragraphs 2 to 8 of Schedule 10 (regulators) and section 59 (interpretation) for the purposes of the provisions which are brought into force by paragraph (a) above.\n(2) The enactments and orders to which paragraphs 2 to 8 of Schedule 10 make amendments shall continue in force for all other purposes without the amendments made by those paragraphs.",
