# The Competition Act 1998 (Competition Commission) Transitional, Consequential and Supplemental Provisions Order 1999, Article 44: Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996


In the Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 for “Monopolies Commission” substitute “Competition Commission” in each place in which it occurs in articles 15(1) to (4) and (6) to (8) (modification references to the Monopolies Commission), 16(1) to (4) (reports on modification references), 17(1) (modification following report), 23(2)(b), (3) and (5) to (7) (functions with respect to competition) and 44(3)(a), (b)(iv) and (6)(a) (general restrictions on disclosure of information).
